Come

Sisterchicks in Wooden Shoes is another wonderful addition to the Sisterchick series by Robin Jones Gunn. Two pen Pal friends for decades Summer and Noelle take an opportunity to meet in person to share life together. In fun experiences there are serious life issues worked through. Having personally traveled to Holland it was wonderful to recapture those moment through her written words of the scenic Netherlands. Robin Captures the moments, including the culture and traditions. She was able to bring back memories of traveling around in Amsterdam, and seeing the Hiding Place all over again. Even though there is the usual wild and fun adventures, this book deals with more serious life troubles with cancer, and family history, which does give a different tone to the book. Still very enjoyable fiction, it added that thought provoking element of life and death, friendship and the importance of relationships with God and people. Enjoying the moments we have no matter what we face is

continuing to walk with the Lord through as He alone can call us. We need just trust and as Noelle says often "Come."Come
