The Final Countdown begins!

It’s in 4 weeks everyone to the wedding! Oh my there is so much to do and so much left to take care of yet....but it will get done. I can't wait to be married, to wake up and him to be there, to not have to say goodbye to each other so much, and just goodnight. :) Only 26 more days! There is so much to do….

I wanted to take this moment to blog about life in general, the seasons of life I've written about before but as I stand on the brink of a huge life change, and with so many good things happening, I'm taking the moment to hit pause and reflect. Amid the craziness of finals, and wedding, and merging two lives, it’s such an exciting season, busy but so exciting! :)

I can’t believe how fast this last year has gone, with moves, and school, and life in general. Some ups and downs, but relatively ok. Some hard things, but also lots of good things too, I was reflecting the other day with my husband to be, how fast life has gone by, I still can’t believe the wedding day is just around the corner. The excitement of all the fun details. I really have enjoyed the wedding planning and I realized how thankful I am we did decide on a June wedding, instead of a January one. I know some people might have resented the wait and the long year engagement, but God has taught us so many different things, and grown us closer together, provided blessings of so many well divine situations and necessary means that only God could be the reason it all worked out. Even with wedding things I hadn’t even thought of until this weekend, from the dress, to the location, to the provisions, to even the refi, and housing for my parents until a month ago. God’s time is indeed better then our own, and its good reminder to seek Him on that timing and how its all come together for our special day, and the preparation to spend a life time together.

I had so meant to blog more about the wedding stuff, as well as school, and as things came up…oh well, it just didn’t happen....so I am trying to catch up.... I realized I Didn’t even post pictures from Hawaii! Wow! Well maybe I add that soon…probably after the wedding. I feel like there is so much to catch up on. I almost don’t know where to start so I decided to break it to categories.

Work- Kyle is working at Front Range Solutions, and we hope able to switch to days soon, once we are married especially. I’m still at focus, coming up on 9 years this August. Wow!

School- Kyle’s last classes are this week, and he will be done with his BA in December! :) I have been taking art classes at the local college of PPCC, and that has been a fun semester of art and photography classes. I’ve really enjoyed these classes, even if they did bring some chaos to life, taking time away from wedding planning.

Housing- Kyle and I have made the decision to live at my house, and rent out his…so if you know of anyone looking for a town home to rent…anyway going through the process of moving his belongings over slowly and getting the house in order and setting it up as our own.

Family- My parents are waiting on job possibilities that might move them out of state, but excited for the prospects for them. Amy and Spencer did move out of state to Kansas City Missouri, with the girls. We miss them a lot, but sounds like they are getting settled and are happy. Aaron and Ashley’s wedding are close as well, July 25, I think a mere 50days after ours, so they are in full swing of planning and merging lives too. Aunie….well she is the go getter working 3 jobs, and saving for future adventures. We all had an awesome family vaction back in October to celebrate mom and dad’s 30th, and went to Hawaii! That was incredible trip! So wonderful!

Family 2- Kyle’s parents are doing well, been helping with final wedding details and planning for Evans graduation. Evan is graduating just this Saturday and plans to spend the summer out there with his girl Karen. :)

Friends- CAMA has been so supportive and helpful during this season, so helpful with all the wedding stuff and life stuff. And I couldn’t be more blessed. Eve, Heidi, Amber, Tamela, Carrie, Christina, and Katie, (in no particular order) sweet girl friends who have helped me in many different ways and I treasure your friendships during this season.

Wedding…been the fun part of things, I’ve enjoyed the planning and details… maybe I should become a coordinator, cause I have enjoyed the planning process. Not some of the frustrations we’ve encountered with finding a place, and caterer delays, and getting addresses for invitations, then picking invitations, then assembling invitations…but now that that is done….I’m feeling like things are almost done. Colors are picked, theme is in place, and rentals are being pulled together. :) My dress is ready, his tux is picked out and the pastor knows what to do. ;) We almost have all the decorations, and the videographer is almost finished. The photographer and my coordinators (wonderful friends helping me) and florist are all done. Bridal showers were so special and fun! This is it people!!! I am getting married!!!! ;)

That is the sum up in its briefest form, to fill you in on life. Thank you everyone for prayers and support!
